“I can see that Goldmine is going to be more valuable than I ever imagined”

Engineers are by nature and by training used to getting things precisely right. Which is probably why Richard Bridgman of Warren Services was frustrated by the card system on which his company kept its contact details. “We reached the stage where we had so much information that we had run out of cards - and tying up the information was almost impossible.”

This was the point at which he decided that his records needed to be kept on an electronic rather than manual system.

Warren Services is a precision engineering company supplying components to customers throughout the country and from a diverse range of industries including food, medical, scientific and agricultural.

Faced with the situation of a card system that could no longer cope, Richard asked around and discovered that the majority of people he spoke to recommended Goldmine Contact Management Software. This led him to Alloy CRM.

“Until now I have never been a computer user, and this has been my first introduction to the computer. So other people would probably find Goldmine even easier than I did,” he explains.

“We’ve only been using it for a few weeks and already it has made a big difference. We are really noticing the benefits. As yet we haven’t got round to utilising all of its features but I can see that it is going to be more valuable than I imagined. Now that I have Goldmine I’m putting more things on there than I ever dreamed I’d be able to.”

Richard also discovered that the Goldmine software package is equally useful for keeping details of his suppliers and his customers.

“If I can’t get, for example, the stainless steel I need from one source, then I can quickly and easily look up past records even from a couple of years ago.”

“I’m also very happy with the service I have received from Alloy CRM,” he added.
